Thanx (but those are the stuff-ups, yes the planned hardbaits will get trebles at the back, the soft ones might require a separate or modified mould to accomodate a hook further back and or even two hooks with one further back.

Just waiting for the order from over yonder to arrive so I can run some paint tests on these lures, finally found the paint (I HOPE) for soft plastic. No dipping required to seal in the paint job they say, so hopefully the structural detail will now remain in tact.

The guys in the states are not necessarily that much "smarter", they just have all the supplies at hand which make life easy, lucky swines. Here in the sticks.. eish we have to battle to find not only the goods, but reliable suppliers. I really hope this stuff you are waiting for works. Did you check what Mikey used on this one with the black stripes? It looks painted and dipped can't see bleeding in it. These were painted and dipped, no???

Yeah, I saw those, thing is with those swimbaits you don't need the structural detail as in the ones I'm after, and I also tried dipping mine, first batch was a stuff up, but then got the hang of it and on those I used normal enamel which worked like a dream, only disadvantage is the loss of structural detail.

I spoke to a guy that sell's similar lures in the States (made in CHINA of course, and he put me onto a company that he uses for the soft plastic paints, (bought one of the lures and got another as a B-day present, yes they are that expensive and the paint work on them seems to be very durable and provides the detail that I'm after), so I'm almost certain it'll do just what I need it to do. 

Yes we are so "Julius" Malema'd here, it's not even funny, getting the stuff was (still haven't received it) a mission, tried my B-hind off getting something local but it's just not possible, even tried several companies claiming their inks will do the same thing. So I had to pay a couple of big Leopards for small ammounts of the colours and thinners, 4floz each, but using an airbrush I think it'll go a distance (I Hope)
