first of all you need a rod that can handle the big pull lie an hmg heavy or sharky...then a reel that can take 500m of 50lb braid backing and 200m .55 nylon on top ..you will need around 1.3mm wind on leader..

for your trace you will need 200lb wire to make a non-return slide trace..

your bait ..gees there so many you can use live bait ,full choka,mackral, bonnie,yellow tail ..the list can go on ..
