This snake was found in a car , I was sent this photo asking if I know what kind . Who knows ?

looks like a legless skink of sorts knowing the location of where it was found can narrow down the species.

Definitely a legless skink and not a snake

It was found in a car that someone brought in for a service , looks like it was killed . Mistaken for a snake , sad !

Acontias meleagris Cape legless skink - common in the coastal zone all the way along the West Coast and False Bay.  Not to be confused with the Cape legless skank - commonly found outside and often inside any night time hang out in Cape Town and surrounds.
