Snagging Lures

Hey guy's.

I'm having a slight problem. I'm loving using the lipless cranks for Mr. Whiskas, what I'm not loving is losing a lure every second day... I'm using the Strike Pro Red Eye Shad lures with the original trebles attached. Any ideas on how I could improve the hook setup without losing too many fish?

Is the red eye shad not a STRIKE KING lure?? just asking...

you do get lure retrievers at shops...or you can make your own

Riaan ,exchanging the treble for a suitable sized single,may already improve your chances vastly,you may have a few misses on the single but once hooked they are even better than most trebles.If need be you may even attach an extra splitring on the lure so as to ensure that the single stays proud instead of dangling to either side.

I have solution with very light spring steel (piano wire or guitar string) but don't know how to make a drawing. I once saw it and thought it was a great idea.

If nobody comes up with something useful I'll try to make a plan to get you a diagram, no matter how crude...LOL
