sliding today

Tried sliding today with briad just dont work well it did`nt for me,
so went back to mono for a go at sliding fine no problem but unfortunaly no takers fish wise i think we have a barren sea ???,

but at least i learned something today i cant slide with braid and to see a 1/2 a mackeral go out a long ways i was very impresed just shame the fish were`nt.

sliding with braid never works it doesnt slide it just sticks

I have slid with Berkley Fireline braid (50lb yellow) as top shot - it worked but I would never recommend it to anyone as the fight for in-eds is a b@st@rd when you get to the rocks with a decent sized in-ed.

What i like is the look on peoples faces when they see 1/2 macky going a long way out to see,
im really going to persist with the sliding but ill stick to mono
