Skippers license

Hi guys. How do I go about getting my skippers ticket for cat B. Must I start at cat E and then work up?

You can do Cat B directly as long as you have the necessary hours.

There are several providers depending on where you live - I have just found Tony and Lisa at SASCA the best.

Thanks. How do I get the necessary hours as I dont have access to a skipper with cat B only cat C.

Skippering any C/D vessel will count as long as you get the hours signed off by the skipper concerned.
