I have a cressi fin at home, left over from my last serious shoredive opf@k.

I will have to find it and see which model it is.

Cool. maybe your wayward fin will meet up with mine somewhere in the deep blue and make a happy couple! (But then again, they would have to do some travelling seeing as CT and PE are a few Km's apart...).

My 20 year old son was wearing my fins and jumped off a rock into 6m of water in a fairly dense kelp bed. Forgot to bring fin guards with and it slipped off his foot. I immediately dived down in the area and could not find it. One and a half hours of diving with a buddy......it was just GONE. There was no surge, wind or swell around - really wierd.

Went to rebels rus, other side of St Francis with my friend Mike Holmes and his son who wanted to start spearfishing.

I swam about a K into the sea got some fish.

On the way back, the wind and swell came up and there was only one little inlet to come ashore in.

As I went into the inlet and onto a rock, to get up onto the ledge, the mother of all swells took me and deposited me into the rocks behind. breakiing three ribs and taking my one fin.

The lighty never took to spearfishing after that.

Please don't put off getting drunk on my account. If you have a sober evening anytime in the next few weeks............(not that I'm insinuating that you are a pisscat or anything - I don't even know you!)

Shot for the reply.
