Gents,

I am desperate (I actually need the spool) so will look at one in any condition as long as the spool is in working order.

PLEASE

Fishpaste,

Indeed, I have even tried Mikes Reel Repair (Canada) but because it is discintinued they don't even have one. Only hope is if someone has upgraded and willing to sell, but so far no luck.

Nice gesture but I cannot part with my 400 unfortunately. I was looking for a 250 alongside my 400. If you do decide to part with the 250...throw me a price on PM. Sorry sir!

Hi there,

This is a massive shot in the dark, but I have a corsair 400 lying around and was wondering if the spool from that would fit the calcutta?

Garenth...just been speaking to Ngwena saying that I have a feeling that the corvalus 400 spool might fit...never thought about the corsair as that may also fit!

Gents,

Must be telepathy as I picked up a Corsair from a guy in Jeffreys this morning, the look very similar but doesn't fit or work due to mm's difference on the right hand side where the spool engages.

I am not going to let this reel irritate me further, going by the dustbin!!!

Thanks for trying to help.

let me say that I was lucky to pic up a abu reel and a callcutta 250 very good cond. as the guy sold it to a tackle shop.
Know the owner very well so got it for a steal...
I was very lucky

No don't chuck the 400 in the bin I would much rather take it off your hands and keep for spare parts for mine

Sorry man it was gone 10 min after I put the post on, at least 7 people phoned me wanting it for the spares.

The 250 I keep for you as agreed.

Cheers
