Service cost for a jetski

Hi Guys,

Can anyone tell me what they usually pay for a service on their jetski?

I recently took mine to a place in Joburg and they charged me R2200 for the yearly service.

This seems a bit steep and i was wondering what you guys pay.

i had a kawasaki stx 1200 4stroke and took it to raceteq they charged me R1400 for a good service! i am from richardsbay and will tow it back up to durban anytime best service i have ever had on my ski!

Send us a detailed breakdown of what was included in the service and what Ski you have?
I think it would be in all our best interests do do a couple of comparisons

it was the usual service, nothing major.
Change spark plugs, oil, check eletrical components, etc.

They quotede me R2000 before they had even seen the ski.

The ski is a Yamaha FX160

Yeah Matt thats a bit rough, Perry`s Yamaha (Durban) quoted me 1400 for a service on my FX160, took my ski there a couple of times and had fantastic service everytime, They are Yamaha agents and give you a full diag report everytime, you shouldnt be paying more than that.
