Well myself and a couple of work mates decided that we will brave the cold weather and see if can get some fish to bite. We decided to go to Rooibult and arrived there on a very cold Saturday morning. Two guys went through on Friday afternoon and caught a carp and a muddy, bait unknown.

Well after waking them up with a cup of coffee on Saturday we got our lines in the water. I was the first to get a Carp of about 1kg on the line with a Wintergreen dough.

The wind picked up something horrible at about 11:45 and we did not manage anything for the rest of the day.

Early in the evening Cyclops got a nice run and got a Carp of 2.5kg not sure what bait was used.

We woke up Sunday morning to white serroundings and it was cold after a cup of nice hot coffee the lines was back in the water and I managed another 3 Carps on Wintergreen dough again.

One of the other guys also got 3 Carps in a short space of time using Honey Glow on the ball all fish was in the region of about 1kg.

In all aspects it was a great weekend fishing.
