Rods and Line Class

How important is it to spool your reel according to the line class rating of your rod? And what will the impact be say your rod is rated 8-15kg and you spool higher kg?

Depends on your style of fishing. Lighter thinner line will let you throw lures etc further. Also heard of the wrong line damaging eyes / guides on rods.

If you pull harder with the rod higher you will break the rod.

Most rods can actually under rated to prevent over working of the rod.
