Rock and Surf Trip

Looking to get away end of the month up the east coast with the wife but want to kill 2 birds with one stone and turn it into a bit of a fishing trip aswell. Looking to go no further than Pearly Beach, Any suggestions or recommendations on spots/ camp sites/ whats biting where?

West Coast very scenic and spots like Dwarskersbos, Tietiesbaai (nice camping) and Lamberts (a bit farther) are all very cool to get away from it all. Sadly in my opinion the shore fishing is not a patch on the East Coast. You will scratch out hotties and the odd gallie, even a kob or two if the water is right, but generally somewhere like Struisbaai or Pearly Beach is much more promising from a pure fishing perspective. Enjoy.
