Richardsbay Trip

Hi everyone.

We are planning a week long trip to Richardsbay at the end of January 2014.

Does anyone know of any hot spots and what bait and rigs work best.

hey ...

You should try Hlobane ... It has been producing some good fish ...a couple of good size GT's over the last month ... (yesterday a bud of mine got one of 24kg's on a bonnie slide looking for a shark)

Other good spots include Noggies ...need 4x4 to access ... it is typical rock and surf with scattereded rock structure .. expect rock cod, pompano,stumpies and kingies ... other spiecies are your normal blactails,wave garrick and stone bream ....

try using sea lice ... deadly bait for this area and plentiful around ...

Pm me when you are closer to your trip ... will keep you updated and try to hook up for a session if my schedule permits me ....

im goin fishing on 1st of feb at buffalo river in east london.
any ideas of what bait to use because im after leeries.
and can any one tell me what tackle i should bring and what spots to go to?
the fish im after mainly is leerie,kob,grunters,blue fish

Where is Noggies? I know Longbeach. Been there last week, and very unsuccessful. Don't know what caused the fish to disappear. My brother-in-law also stays in Richardsbay, maybe he can go and check the place.
