Hi All,
Decided to give RDW a try for a change.....
So what is new at RDW?
The dam is super full over 100% as the spillway is a bit interesting if you get with in 50 M of it.
Fish - well bass were a bit on the thin side we were only able to land 2 in two days and even they were rats.
I have never seen so much fry in a dam - there were a few shoals one about an acre in size near the spill way with what appeared to be yellows feeding on them.
Even the boys in the tritons with the 200HP+ were having a tough time in pulling fish. Needless to say RDW still feels like a F1 circut on weekends and I felt very much undergunned with my wee little 40hp with those kamakazi pilots screaming around the dam.
Did very well on the smalls. Got good size Vlei, Dwarfs, Blues and for the first time ever canaries in RDW.
Anyways cured of RDW for a bit now........
