Its that time again boys fishing for money this time we are bringing a Bakkie that's has to be won AND R500 000 in prizes this is without mentioning all the trophy's shirts and what ever you can think of this is going to be an amazing even and only the start of HUGE plans and ideas

Remember the top 12 anglers at this nationals 2014 will go to Angola 100% for free passella on us

Craig, Im not even going there bru. But yes it is another can of worms. I understand sponsors change their minds etc (not that im saying that acceptable)

I just want know what the bakkie is going to be a prize for, before it also turns out to be something  crazy.

I know where you guys are coming from having fished the first two RASSPL nationals. The first one was bad but because it was the 1st I thought I'd give it a 2nd chance, after the 2nd national I swore never to fish again as it was the most unorganised event I have ever fished. An abisolute circus and I don't think anyone would of fished a 3rd.

But then RASSPL AFRICA took over and I truly believe that this group are going to make this year's National something to remember. They got such big plans for the future.They have said that the bakkie will be won and there will be R500k in prizes altogether. That on its own is good enough for me.

I believe that the nationals is going to rotate in the future and not always be in Kowie which is awesome too!

Howzit Dave,

Im probably one of the only people taking part in rasspl that doesnt want to see nationals moved. I want to go to a tournament where we catch fish. This is exactly what happens in Port Alfred.
If you want to come to Cape Town to blank or risk your life and belongings to catch a fish you're welcome anytime! :lol:1

I am certain that this years event is going to be the best one yet. However, when I paid my entry fees last week I did so under the impression we were fishing for a navara, now its an np200. Still a great prize but once people have paid and committed to take part, you cant go changing the rules and the prizes.

Having said this, I'd still be fishing even if there was no vehicle prize. I just think its in everyones best interest to have everything in black and white upfront to avoid any further confusion.

My bad, didnt get that memo. Poster still doesnt say what the bakkie is a prize for but I think Jackal has cleared that up on the other thread.
