Make your own pump,if you have a plumber friend it will cost very little ,buying the material cost R85.00
MATERIAL
1. 80cm 50mm pvc pipe (e-spec or light duty)
2.90cm 40mm pvc pipe
3. 50mm tee
4.50 to 40 reducer
5. 50mm female end cap
6.40mm female end cap x 2
7.40mm elbow
8.squash ball
9.tube pvc weld
10. tube super contact
11.plastic screw and wing nut assembly from toilet seat
12 .6x50mm brass machine screw and wing nut
1.Drill a hole through one 400 end cap to size of pvc screw ,and glue the flat end in place with supercontact
2.cut a slot in both sides of squash ball and insert pvc screw
4. drill hole in other 40mm end cap and insert over pvc screw and tighten with wing nut
5.glue 50mm tee to end of 50mm pipe
6.use short section to glue into top of tee and glue 50mm end cap onto that
7. drill 40mm hole with hole saw through the end cap
8.insert 40mm pipe with squash ball into 50mm pipe and through the top .
9.glue short piece of 40mm pipe to 40mm elbow for handle and attach to 40,, pipe with brass screw ( this is so the inner part can be removed to replace the squash ball)
10 glue the reducer to the 50mm tee and glue short piece of 40mm pipe for other handle
11. and wall a prawn pump with same diameter as a stainless one
p.s the pvc wing nut can be tightened to squash the ball thus increasing the sucking power
p.s pleas use e-spec 50mm pipe as the assembly wont fit into heavey duty pipe ,smaller inside diameter
