Hi Guys,

Arrived at our spot (just north of the Umtamvuna River) at around 5h30am. Cast out a few sardine fillets and nothing but a few knocks. Around 6h00, hooked a mullet of about 30cm - was hooked through the head so was not gonna be able to swim out. Used it's belly and after an hour not even a bump - we then moved over to the high rock even further north and switched back to sardines in an attempt to hook into rockcod - nothing.

The tide almost completely fallen, we grabbed a few mussels and some red-bait and whipped out the light tackle. Managed to scratch 4 banded Galjoen averaging 30cm and a few blacktails while the south eaterly howled away.

All in all nothing too exciting but good to see the galjoen around!

Cheers
