Looking good..

If you do not have any means of painting the poppers, you can buy rattle can spray paint and spray them. You can get some nice effects with this, but unfortunately, cannot do detailed jobs.

With the surfboard foam, I would suggest sealing it with epoxy/resin first and then painting as it is quite soft. I used to do this when making saltwater poppers for fly-fishing.

Here are some effects you can get with a normal rattle can spray paint.

Silver base coat, metallic blue back, and then pull a net over it for scaling effects..

Hi,
You will have to seal it with resin. Just bear in mind, it's going to get destroyed in no time. I have made lures this way in the past and even tried fiberglassing over them to try and make them last. The other option is to seal it and get it as smooth as possible with layers of paint then make an RTV mould to reproduce it with a PU resin like feather light.

Thanks for the input I dont worry if they get destroyed cuz they are easy to make just the paint would take the longest

Im gonna keep the first lot white and see how they work and would later work and play around with paint.

Whill post picks ass i progress.
