That is a red breasted Kurper (Tilapia rendalli).
Where abouts close to HArties in an aquarium?

Haha yeah nice one Ryan! now the whole country saw that killer catfish! What reel do you use when targeting such large fish? A normal baitcaster like what you would use for bass?

I'm no expert and ryan from the freshwater section should be able to help better but my guess is a redbreasted kurper or canary kurper.

that is definately a red breasted kurper and not a canary.the canary kurper only grows to about 15cm in length (thats the male) and its body symbolises a bass more than a kurper

that is a red breasted tilapia, closy related to many chiclids you may find in pet shops, probably a male in season, ryan correct me if im wrong,
