Penn 49

Hi can any 1 help me with some pictures or a link on how to assemble a Penn 49.
It is my fathers and I striped it to clean the inside but nw I can't get it back togethere. If there is any 1 that can help me in anyway it will be appreciated

Hi tanx for that but its still confusing for me the penn 49 has more parts and I don't no wer they fit . But tanx any way!

Where do you live fella? There are a few guys in the southern subburbs and 1 or 2 in the north that could help you.

Hi Sylvester tanx very much that was very helpuful is its just the dog and the dog spring that is very confusing. I put it together but the eccentric lever(Drag lever) does not work it has something to do with the dog and dog spring.

I finally got those pics of the opened up Pen49 i told u about. I hope they are of use to you. The reel doesn't look to good anymore, but you can see it's been used alot.
I hope this helps.

llcoolj, you still need the manual? I found the PENN 49 Schematic and Parts list. It basically tells you where every single part goes and how to assemble...Let me know I can email you. Will also post it under Reel Servicing, if you need it...

Why do you want to replace that parts mentioned in the PM ?

Mail me some photos then I can see if its really necessary to replace them ?

I have a parcel I need to send with a lift to Henties. If we can sort out the parts problem before then . I may be able to help you with some parts on the same trip .
