Not too sure about that westerly story.

Here is the formula I use:

1. Pack fishing gear into car.
2. Drive to fishing spot.
3. Fish.

There are so many places in and around PE to fish, just be aware of your safety if fishing alone and particularly at night in some of the spots like the Pier and Wildside.

Hit flat rocks / Cape Recife / pine lodge after a strong day (or 2) of E - you can also go while the E is pumping just not easy to cast but the fish will be biting.

Take soft baits such as prawns, white mussel, blob squid baits etc.

Dont forget your fishing license & you will need to buy a permit if you want to drive into the reserve.

Thank Guys, wrt to these spots, what are the best times to go? Sunrise/sunset? Incoming or Dropping Tide? This sounds like a Cracker location from the baits you mention
