Paint for my leadheads

Hi guys

I need sum help, would like to know what paint i could use to spray my leadheads or an alternative ????

DONT wanna powder paint them...

i'm afraid for durability nothing else works. The alcocks use somthing i forget whats it's called but if you ask them nicely they might tell you but that also chips off after a few sessions.

i have used plascon paint effects.
it comes in a small 200ml tub. nice color range

Simple but effective:  Nail polish 3 coats; then automotive 2K clearcoat 3 coats (get it from City Paint & Tool in North End).  If you really want to get technical, head on over to the DIY Lures section - loads of info there.

Rather send the missus to get the nail polish for you unless you want some strange looks!  I sent mine off on the mission and she came back with a flashy silver one that she said looked just like a fish!  She's strange.

I wonder if normal duco spray that u buy in a can will work...mmmm ???

Then spray a clear coat over it so that it doesnt chip ??

Go and get some 2 part automotive clearcoat...  I'm pretty sure it'll protect anything beneath it.  It's about R100 for 0.5l and hardener - enough to paint a million leadheads!

Normal spray paint (and this is my guess) will probably just fall off.

I use acertone to clean my lead heads before spraying them it cleans the lead and helps the spray paint to stay on the lure.

You get stuff called "hard as nails". Ladies use it on there fingernails to cover ther nailpolish and prevent it from scipping etc. Basically a form of clearcoat, comes in a small bottle with a nailbrush.
