Our previous fishing spot was on the Vereeniging Villiers road, unfortunately one need to stand guard at night otherwise one's stuff just walk off.
Then we visited Mihanzi over the weekend of 13-15 Sept 13. What a pleasure. Being used to the goings on at the previous spot, we stayd up till late the first night. Had a braai at two in the morning. However, this was really not needed as all our stuff were intact the next morning after we hit the sack quite early the second night.
The fishing was not that good as the wind was blowing a bit strong at times.
Only mishap was that the front indicator bulb on my brand new bait boat have blewn on the second trip out. I have modified it as soon as I could. But I suppose one can alloberate on this later.

Hi Zambesi,
Mihanzi is so plus minus 4km van Oranjeville oppad na Jim Fouche se kant toe.
Meer presies: So 1.5km van die staalbrug af, draai jy regs, dan so 3 na 4km weer regs tot by die hek. Daar is twee kamp plekke. Een (draai regs by hek) met krag ens, die ander gaan links af en daar is net ablusie geriewe maar geen krag nie.
Ons was by die deel sonder krag. Enigste probleem is dat die pad van die hek af tot by die oewer maar bietjie hobbelrig is.
Blykbaar grens dit aan Krugers. Ek is egter nie seker nie.

stem saam, so begin van laas jaar was mihanzie nog redelik onbekend en kon mens gereels soontoe gaan (aan die linkerkant sonder krag) en maklik 200m aan weerskante van jou oop gehad het, deesdae is die nogal bekend en baie vol, maar bly 1 van die beste waters, veiligste en skoonste plekke langs die vaal. Die teerpad soontoe is net n nagmerrie. Het ook n winkeltjie op die perseel met al die nodige en die ablusie is ordentlik, skoon en groot genoeg. Water is lekker en het amper geen vas haak plek nie, aangesien dit n sand bodem amper orals is.
