hi guys

planning a trip to the vaal dam oranjeville close to the old jim fouche

not very familiar with this part of the vaal
any tips and advice will be highly appreciated

Hi Eesa, I visited Biermans some time ago just before the winter started, sweet flavours worked best, bigger fish came out at 120m+, it was a little slow if you were casting, but I'd say the usual Vaaldam tactics should get you fish. I just wanted to ask, is the place you're going to the old Springbok camp, inbetween Biermans and the old Jim Fouche?
