New squid lure

Taking from what I've learnt, I am entering the 360 lure challenge. This is my idea.

The lure here is just a plug from which a mould will be made and the final lure made.

The final lure will get a very small lip and a skirt.

No, not at all. I will do a tutorial soon. This one is done very different and perhaps a little more complicated!

I will show you how anybody can made a stick bait and try to cover everything from shape to balance etc.

I may even start a thread first just to list what we will use so that any one wanting to do it can get some materials. If you have basic equipment, a lure costs very little to make. I will also be prepared to help out with materials like wood and wires.

No buddy, that's not the final lure. I will make a mould from that, then cast a resin lure.

Bottom - Plug
Middle - Trial cast
Top - Final lure (floating)

Bennie, "new squid lure" means it is a new lure that looks like a squid and not a new lure for catching squid/chokka?

With that in mind do you have plans to build the pink lady chokka lures, seeing they are hard to find ?

Hopefully a lure that looks like a squid to catch fish. Here in Durbs we don't really get squid.
