New rig

Hey All,
Been excellent Christmas,
Have got my reel all spooled up with braid
and rod is hopping up and down in garage,
havent had a chance to get down to te beach yet,
but if not too blurry tomorrow morning, then will
definatly go.
Can anyone recommend a good surf spot that consistently
produces on dropshot ? I was thinking Strandfontein ??

Very nice setup !!!

Remember, not many fish will take 100m of line off a reel !
If your reel has about 200m of good line on, and a good drag then you are set for good fishing.

I will have a smaller spinning reel than a bigger one, it just makes casting so much easier and the balance feels so much better.

That reel you have is a MACHINE !

Don't overload the rod too much, and if you go heavier than rated then don't cast too hard.
