a good spot is if you park at the hibberdene hotel and walk left towards shad bay past the crowd that is always poaching undersized shad and blacktail and keep walking till you find a small gate in the bushes at the back its about 500 m left of shad bay you will see it makes a huge sand bank with literally no waves waid onto that and cast in the deep channel it makes just before the next sand bank starts you will note its very rocky to left and right but this small patch is clear of rocks , i have caught many kob grunter bronze bream shad as well as small sharks here round about august this spot is filled with garick and i have in past also caught the odd kingy here. There is many other spots i can tell you for certain times of the year to target many different species of fish the wind direction and tides play a very important role in this stretch of coast , as well as times you fish.
