New lure

Tested a new lure yesterday.

We got a Dorado and nice Wahoo on it. Some skippies on my "Little guy" too.

Great Bennie. That white head is working for you. What is the length of this cona? I also like the rigging. Do you pull it just like that or do you add a strip bait as well?

Hi,
This lure is 14" long overall (2" head and 12" skirts).

I do use strip baits but not this time.

Tks Bennie. Is there a tutorial on how to rig the cona with hooks on this forum. Your rigging looks good. I like the cable as it gives extra security should you be lucky to hook a big wahoo like yours!!!!

There is a tutorial in the offshore section but my rigging has evolved over the years and in some cases looped back. The basic concept hasn't changed though. I will update it. I do take great care with my rigging because it can make all the difference. My hookup rate has been exceptionally good. Even with Marlin.
