Howzit guys! Been out of the game for a few years but the fish bug bit again and I got some gear together and casted my first line into the sea last weekend.
Have learned loads from this forum all ready and hope that I can contribute a bit as well.
I learned from my grandfather and he only believed in catching one fish and one fish only, Galjoen. So I have a Huge love for this fish and grew up hunting them in the Kleinmond area where my grandfather used to live when he was still around. This will be my main target for the season.
Will do catch and release but one is going to the braai if I'm lucky enough!
Hope to meet some of you guys next to the galjoen waters in the next few months!
