Hey mate, Navman marine no longer exist(internationally) the products have been re-branded to Northstar, you can speak to Steve Revell at M-rad they are the agents for Northstar. 021 559 4003 steve@mrad.co.za

Hi Guys, This might be late but may be a warning to other wannabe Navman's. I own a NAVMAN 6600 (paid R15000)and is taking this unit out of my boat as I write this. Frankly, there is no support in SA with these units. I had tremendous trouble getting the unit to work properly. The clutter on this unit spoiled 4 Mozambique tips. Some can claim improper instalation, but after moving the transducer 4 times on the transom, tried a transducer arm, tried through hull instalation bla bla bla..... Maybe there was a problem with the transducer??? Who knows. I am so totally finished with Navman or Northstar!!! When Northstar took over, I especially went to see the new agent at the National Boatshow to get help and advice. Sorry to say but when he heard I bought this from Pertec he did not want anything to do with my problem... or so I felt when I left!! Maybe I'm stupid but the help I got from the beginning was pathetic, so pathetic that Pertec also won't see me again. I am installing a Lowrance HDS 7 and hope these guys service and fishfinder is as good as they promise! If anybody want to buy a NAVMAN 6600, cheap, cheap send me a message.

I have a navman finder which is a couple of years old, which was faulty, after a bit of a search i got hold of Steve from Mrad the northstar agents, who instructed me to bring the unit in so that he could have a look at it, the fault was rectified in no time and i was on my merry way...all in all great service.
