Ladies and Gents any of you going to Namibia SOON!!!! take not

It was a decision by the bank of Namibia to stop all petrol cards. You can use your debit card but that will be the decision of the particular petrol station. this is because the margin the station takes on selling fuel is already low and if you use your visa/mastercard the garage pays a portion as well thus further reducing the profit margin. Some garages in Windhoek does take debit cards thou

Ja dis reg, geen petrol kaarte word mee aanvaar nie

Party garages aanvaar debiet kaarte maar nie baie nie, beste is om cash te trek en daarmee te betaal

Moet ook nie bargain dat die ATM by die garage werk nie, trek jou cash voor die tyd

Ek was op Tsumeb toe in die week en die ATM's by 3 verskillende garages was "Out of order"

They are going to lose a lot of tourism, because who wants to travel with Thousands of rands in cash in your cars,
and I heard from one of my friend that wanted to Draw cash its limited to R500 that is also not good, is it Just SA cards or Namibian cards as well?

Ai Ai Ai Not good Such a leke place and now going to go down the Tubes!!!!!
