Mooikloof Estate dam

visited a friend in Mooikloof estated and went to check out the dam.

its about the same size as struben also with an island and running stream. it has a lot of structure, sunken treas etc and apparently has plenty bass upto 2kg. you can also fish inflatables etc which would allow you to get to the better spots.

anyone fished there?

For bass try to use plastic worms by "zoom" most peole have caught fish with that but i have seen barbel once in the dam and carp and yellow fish a few times which can grow to a  to a massive size and if it is possible when arrive at a parking space you will see in front of the island their is a rock try to cast near that rock ihave seen a huge fish jump out of the water their
