Meerhof in winter???

Hi there guys. I went to meerhof about a month and a half ago and got fish for the day. All fish were about 2kg and smaller. Where is the best place for some good winter fishing and the distance most likely to produce the best results??
I would appreciate a review from someone that has been there recently.

I went with a friend to Meerhof yesterday, fishing was ok....biggest was 3kg, lost a couple of fish due to the rocky bottom. From 10am the wind picked up very bad.

Baits that worked well was Vampire(white bleeding garlic) floats, Gumtree/Garlic/almond pitte.
Dips : Almond/Perdeby, Paint/Quattro, yellow activator/tjop tjop.
Distance : 50m-100m

Good spots for us are way left when you go through the gate and another spot is by the 2 old trees.
