Marine Grease

Hi

Can anyone point me in the right direction. I'm using the blue marine grease, that they use on outboard motors, to service my reels. Mine is now finished....can someone tell me where I can buy the grease here in the Bellville/Brackenfell area? Please pm me if you have an idea where I can find this grease.

Thank you

Hi Hndray.

1. The carbontex washers need a touch of cal's grease. Apparently just a touch.
2. Cant say about the leather though. I think some ppl use something else. An old product. Dont know what its called though.

Since my wife brought back 2 pots of Cals Grease for me from New Zealand in March, I no longer need the Marine Grease I have. Galjoen...arrange collection and you can have it. The Everon is blue Marine/Bearing grease.

Just to confirm, this Yamaha blue marine grease is suitable for use inside my reels?

Reels i use on the ski take a beating so i like to stuff them full of grease; i used to use penn bet there seems to be an availability problem of all reel grease at the moment and i'm averse to trading all my major limbs just for some lube.

thanks
