It was really a great weekend. The dam was a bit quiet but I think it was the eastern wind that blew. Thanks a lot to cheetah for organizing the weekend.
I have a place in mind for the next trip to get some bigger cats on the line.
The carp head rig is very effective. Just give the cat a bit of time and you will be sure to hook it with a very small miss rate as your hook is completely open.
I must say, the Team Catfish range is very impressive. Will be sure to try them out more in the future.
Looking forward to the next time you guys come through. I still have so much of the dam to show you guys.

The dam is 180km from bloem. When u go under the bridge by Petrusburg drive 800m and turn left at the green board. now the dirt road is a very long stretch but just straight and u will get there. Very nice dam and very productive.
