Komatipoort bass

Hi gents, going down to marloth park near komatipoort. Is there someone that can give me info where can I fish for bass in that area. I heard there is some farm dams that hold monster bass.
We just want to fish from the banks.

Try and get hold of emjay on the bassing.co.za forum. He is from Nelspruit and should know that area quite well.

I grew up in Komatipoort, fishing always gr8 down there. Big Florida bass, large purple lizzards and spin baits work best. Only thing is you sould have contacts.
From Hektorspruit side go in main gate, turn left @ first road and follow till you get an entrance on the left to a farm talk to the guy @ gate he might help you.

Hello from a very hot marloth park(komatipoort). I was guided by a gentlemen from hectors to a farm dam close to hectors. I have never experienced bass fishing like we had today.
It was great we were on cast for cast nice fish up to 2kg.
The sad part is this place was open to the public, butt again closed due to bad behaviour off ass..les.
Guys the structure readbeds, and lillypads out off this world. I can see bass bean caught over 4-5kg. well I just hope that I can fish this place again in the future.
