knots

hello all . i would like to know what is the best knot for a leader on a carp rod thanx:fishn

I wrap the leader 3 times around the double line.

The knot works great on coated lines / braid and any kind of nylons

Only leader knot I use with confidence.

Do you guys think you can coat knots with clear cutex? I read it somewhere on the forum, but havent tried it as i think it might weaken my line?

I heard that some anglers coat there knots with a rubber based cement to make it even smoother and more secure.


IMO, I think cutex will damage your line..
