Hi, I'm new to this venture! Can anyone plse explain the rigging in detail from the kite down to the ground? I accept when buying the kite, it's rigging will be explained. IF I, HOWEVER,decide to build the kite myself, I shall need the info. Thank you.Regards Bodemvreter.

Tie the kite to the rod.

Get it to fly to where it is in a stable air stream, normally 80-100m from you.

Insert the outrigger clip into the kite line..... either cut the line and tie each end in or loop swivels into the mainline and use snapons to connect the clip.

Attach your fishing rod leader (using loop taped onto the leader (half way up the leader)

One person lets the kite out slowly while you hold the rod and bait in hand. Till the full leader is out of the guides.

Walk to the water's edge.

Drop the bait onto the water (timing between swells)

release the kite fully and out your bait goes a hop skip and a jump

When the rig is in the area you want to drop it. Stop releasing line from the fishing rod but leave the kite to pull till it stops, ie now the fishing rod is holding the kite. Strike the fishing rod which now pulls the fishing line from the outrigger clip.

Bait drops in the water and you retrieve the kite to drop the next line.
