Kids Kit

Hi, we're looking at doing some boat fishing (lures) at Langebaan in Dec, what rod/reel combo would you recommend for my kids (budget constraints), their current bass rigs are 5ft ultralights with closed face reels so definately won't be up to the task in the salt.

Also where can we launch safely at Langebaan (Cat R, deep V) and leave the vehicle/trailer safely.

Will also be targeting some bass at Brandvlei!

I got my daughter a Berkley Cherrywood 6ft medium spinning rod, with Shimano FX 1000RB, loaded with 20lb braid (don't want to loose the lures!!) It casts very easily, has a smooth drag and is lightweight and strong enough to handle just about any bass. Sweet little setup....I often find myself throwing a little x-rap with this rig and has landed a few 2kg+ bass.
