It's moving away from being a kickboat and becoming a hybrid... Kinda like what tablets are doing to the laptop...

I like it very very very much!!

hey Cranky

Loving and dreaming of this boat, can't wait to target yellows on dry fly in the Vaal , it would be perfect for this as you drift slowly down stream for miles fishing to rising pods as you go. Then simply motor back up . I would imagine it has a shallow drift with your fins and obviously the sneaker being the only things below the pontoons, both of which you could lift to glide over shallow rocks.
Quick question can the seat be modified to be removed from the alluminium frame for easy packing ?

cheers

Hi cranky

Love the look of the smaller pontoons , still recon I'm going to need the bigger ones?
I weigh 95kg's.

Then just checking is the boat in the pic designed to go forward or back?....do the pontoons have to face to other way for forward motion as in your pic of the 2012 version, as i prefer the look of the way it sits played with short ends in front...just interrested?

cheers

you can run the kickboat either way...forward or backwards...i just found that with my weight...the pontoons sit deeper than most lighter people...if i dont face the pontoons in the correct direction...they dig in when you go in the opposite direction and it slows the kickboat down...i like to travel on 5 most of the time...to cover lots of water...if you run it on 1...2...3...you shouldnt even notice a difference...
this is the first kickboat we have ever run this way...i dont enjoy it...i only did it to experiment for people who have requested it.

you can run the kickboat with the shorter pontoons...if you use a small battery 50 amp/hr and a small trolling motor 15lb...it will run with the bigger trolling motor and battery but i personally wouldnt advise it.
