Just some advice people...

Don't ever put your e-mail address down as part of a message... if you need to give it to someone, rather send it in a PM. Spider computers are programmed to trace websites for e-mail addresses, which are gathered and added to SPAM databases.

Never place your e-mail address in the public domain...

Reefman,

Thanks for the advice, it should however go without saying.

I had my current internet setup less than a month when I started receiving scary lotto anouncments to my @isp e-mail addy. This scared me because I do not easily use my isp e-mail addy for on-line things, thats why we have yahoo @ gmail.

So yes guys be VERY VERY careful with your e-mail addresses

LH, brilliant.

Also never provide email addresses to any of the big retail stores.

I made a junk address (hotmail, I think), gave it to Edgars, no-one else. Spam arrived two days later...

Guys

That's what I did as well, created a Spam (box) e-mail address and whenever I need to register somewhere for something i.e. Cabelas, I use the spam, e-mail, now all the poef goes there.

Oh and BTW, welcome to Vlakvark, or was that plaasvark, No seriously it took the guy a while to get here, he's not really into working with these stranges things we call computers, anyhow "WELCOME Vlakkie"

Use # instead of @

But Admin must have a look into this. You get code that you add to your site that stops the spam spiders from crawling your site and some from reading the address.
