To break it down, we fish with floats on long rods and thin line for carp, tilapia and barbel (some other species as well). If you scan through the other posts you will get a good idea of what it's all about. Specific questions are wellcome. I'm no expert but will be able to assist if needed. If you try it, post some pics of your catches!

It involves stalking small ponds with natural baits. Ultra light fishing equipment is the tackle used to target any species in the waters you fishing in. Majority of the match okes use the wrangles float setup but one can fish anyway that suits your needs to catch a fish.

I once saw guys fishing a competition only using the equipment they were able to fit into a matchbox - I thought THAT was match fishing!
