Ilovo Beach Area

Hi all,

Please assist in productive fishing spots and good baits in the Ilovo area.

I'm speciffically looking for Sharks.

I know that the guys are fishing the area in front of Protea Hotel Karridene and between Karridene and Winklespruit ( whole Illovo beach area ) extensively at the moment. One of the local tackle shops, High Tide or The Fishing Hole should be able to assist with exact spots and bait to use

generaly not a productive shark area....a exellent area for eds. Garrick , cob , shad , grunter , pompano frequant the area on a seasonal basis.Warmer months will produce greys sandies and flatfish... live shad order of the day at the moment in the area for the gamefish,sealice for the groundfish.

Danman, if you prepared to drive down the coast, try pumula rock or even further down to splash rock in port edward.

Slide a bonnie head and all hell will break lose.
