I would like to know what makes one dip better than another? Is Twin Series better than SuperCast? How does championship dips compare to SuperCast? Does MGBaits work better than SuperCast?

Your experiences will be appreciated!

Personal preference at the end of the day... I fish supercast as have always done so... I fish shimano reels as I have always done so... I fish daiwa rods as I have always done so... Fish with what you have confidence in!

Hi. Yes there are differences.

They use different suppliers of raw materials and some they use the same supplier.

Some manufacturers mix in ingredients and additives such as natural or artificial sweeteners or appetite stimulants.

Some dilute the concentrates more than others.

Some add glycerine or glycol or Puratex to add volume or sweetness or both.

Some dilute certain dips concentrates to make them better, some dilute dips to make more money.

Fact of the matter is find what works for you and use that.

I prefer to use the dip of the original manufacturer. For Example

Tjop-Tjop I use conoflex as Tjop-Tjop was developed and manufactured by Loutjie for Supercast

Quattro, I use Quattro from Supercast as it is Schalks dip and he makes it

Dusk to Dawn, I by Champion as Smitty first manufactured it

GP or FX then I buy Twin Series as they are Jumbo's dips and he has always made it.

Then another question, how do you know who the original manufacturer was? I don't suppose that information is kept anywhere except in the minds of people like you (that have been around for a while).

Twin Series on their facebook page and advertisements in magazines.

All conoflex dips carry the original names and if another brand has the same dip then it is a copy of Loutjie's dies ie. Tjop-Tjop, Kap-Kap' Kiana, Plakker etc

Twin Series dips I believe it is on their site and you can also just ask them the question there. What I do know there are
