I received a used Humminbird 525 (not fitted) with the Arrowhead boat I bought. I took it to a workshop to be fitted but it is missing the power cable. Apparently the power cable can be sourced for R400.
I'm not sure if the fishfinder is in a working condition either so I don't want to spend R400 and then still not have a working fishfinder.
Are there other options with regards to the power cable? Or do you suggest I rather look at a new entry level fishfinder like Garmin 140 or Eagle FishEasy?
Any advice will be appreciated.
