Lichia only posted a question as a novice and in confusion on whether he was using the right technique or not. He didn't knock the technique at all so take it easy on the Seline newbie.

Jig dropshotting is not much different from fishing a bullet weight texas style using a fluke or gulp scented plastics. I'll be trying it this weekend at the Kosi classic, fishing only bass rigs.

If it looks like something that a fish can eat it will attack it, including the unscented bass stuff.

But THEY SAY fish hold on longer to the expensive scented stuff. What they are basically saying is that instead of having one tenth of a second to strike with the unscented stuff you now have seven tenths to strike with the scented stuff, which basically means you shouldn't be angling with artificial lures (I'm not being rude).
