How long do you keep floaties for?

Hi guys

I was wondering, how long do you keep floaties for in your tackle box. The reason i ask is because a few yrs bk i went a bit nuts and bought quite a few boxes. Different flavours and sizes and manufacturers.

Havent done as much fishing as i would like, so i still have quite a few left.

Should i throw them out n buy new stuff? Or hang onto these baits.

The best way to see if they "off' is by smelling them, it they still have a good smell left might still be okay, but hook one and if it breaks easily chuck them!

Hang onto them. their shelf life is a minimum of 5 years.

If the aroma is diminished add a few drops of dip to the bottle and shake it up and they'll be good to go.

Keep them Ive had floaties for 4 years and they still catch

Doen n toets in n glas water. Nuwe float vs oues.

if the floats are hard , put a piece degie on the inside of the cap and it will soften the floaties.

 

They can hold for a few years.
