Hi Guys,

I like to see all the pics that you are posting.

I am a little lost at why trebles are being used?

I only fish with J hooks and tend to flatten the barb. This causes minimal damage to the fishes mouth.

Probably just traditional. Many lures came out with them years ago, and things have just not changed. Sorry for the late reply...

Agreed that it is probably mostly traditional, but anglers are a strange lot and want to catch everything that takes a nibble at their baits. A treble hook increases the chance of a hook-up (though not necessarily the hook-up rate)...IMO...
