Otherwise why all this swell in the summer when it's supposed to be our turn????

I've forgotten what a flat sea looks like!!

I agree ! I even saved up brownie points with the wife for dive time and have been thrice since the start of the year :fbash

It could be worse!

I have recently got back from a week in Vidal where I did not get a chance to spearfish at all due to the conditions. Get home to Scottburgh and waters good and there are plenty reports of fish around only to be land bound once more after going for the snip.

At least it has been raining now and I don't think it will be divable for a few days.I can now recover without my mates saying you should have dived last week!

I'm with you.  I'm recovering from surgery, and likely to be out for another 3 weeks still.  Just don't tell anyone that I did my wind and swell dance before going into theatre!

well... it looks like the SE has finely turned up so things could be changing!!! It's been a long drought on some good conditions! Got so seasick this last weekend diving in the swell, barely got out in time!! was very close to chundering all over the place!!
