I've never dived at mboyti,but I've fished the area before.
The stretch of beach infront of the river mouth was quite productive and did deliver a few big grunters and small kingfish. The area left of the lagoon/river mouth is largely covered with rocks.Not sure if you can dive there.
There is a spot called sharks rocks that you can try with deaper water and an easy surf entry.Last time we caught a few shads from the beach and numerous sharks from the rocks so be careful.
There is a spot with a waterfall,it's worth checking it out,not sure if the waves are too rough though.
